Aquarius Properties Pte Ltd is the joint venture by City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Realty (Private) Limited. CDL is a leading global real estate operating company established in the 1963 in Amber Mansions on Orchard Road. The company main business was to acquire, develop, and sell property. CDL went public listed in November 1963 onto the Malayan Stock Exchange (now known as the Singapore Exchange).

CDL completed and launch their first housing project in 1965 named Fresh Breezes in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. M&C structured into Millennium Hotels, Copthorne Hotels, and Kingsgate Hotels.
